INDIVIDUAL QB TRAINING

Private QB Training is essential to develop throwing mechanics, footwork, and get the individual feedback for the toughest position in all of sports.
HOW WE DO IT

The QB Docs assess every quarterback they work with individually to see what specific flaws they have that are preventing them from maximizing their performance as a QB.

The QB Docs have developed the “Quarterback Performance Screen” which every quarterback they work with goes through. It is a specific set of movements that every quarterback needs to be able to perform in order to be successful at the position. Most likely, there will be some movements that the player can’t perform the right way which will lead The QB Docs down to specific problems that they can work on. The QB Docs believe that it is important to “assess, not guess”.

From there, The QB Docs will teach the quarterback proper footwork, throwing mechanics, and dive into the mental aspect behind the position in order to maximize their ceiling as a QB. The way that the QB Docs teach is extremely different in comparison to other quarterback coaches. The ability to identify common impairments that quarterbacks display is something that they thrive in. The most time will be spent on the quarterbacks’ weaknesses. In other QB programs, quarterbacks will perform drills and exercises because they are drills that have been done for a long period of time. Not in this program. Drills and exercises will be done to meet the specific demands of the player to gradually progress the skill set.

The QB Docs believe that it is just as important to educate the player on how they can coach themselves when throwing on their own. The power to constantly critique your own throwing mechanics and footwork is a skill that The QB Docs believe that every quarterback should have. Since they can’t be with the player at all times, the player needs to know what they did wrong if they make an inaccurate throw or have a negative result of a play.
